Yes, we had tons of stupid penalties, bad ref calls, Leavitt's boneheaded fumble, awful punt coverage and more...

But biggest reason we lost was terrible pass rush. Not one real sack if I recall correctly, just one where they caught him running. Unless KY is Joe Moore winning level OL, I don't get it. We get 4-5 sacks last night and it's a far different game.

Blake Baker’s D.

Despite everything that happened, we had the lead with less than 2 mins to go with Kentucky inside their own 20. And, defense couldn’t come up with a stop.

Leavitt’s fumble didn’t matter (Kentucky missed the FG). Bad ref calls didn’t matter because ultimately we had the lead and Baker’s D couldn’t stop them.

Baker continues to suck arse.

Not using it as an excuse but its hard to get a pass rush when they are literally wrapping our guys up and not being called for it.
I'm not just talking about on a few plays either. This was happening all night

We looked flat

too many mistakes against a good team, not great, or elite, a good team, on the road at night

the fumble was because the OL got shoved into Levitt, we suck up front

We don't have a star#1 WR

Baker called a terrible game

UK is last in SEC on 3rd down, and we couldn't get off the feild so many times

awful

A piss poor OL and the second down call on our last possession.

We didn't get 100 rushing yards even with UK being banged up on D. That was also very disappointing.

We got pressure on Minchy all night but he was astute enough to dump the ball away when he got in trouble. It seemed that we only rushed 4-5 all night long because they gashed us on the run up the gut on first series.

Too many mistakes. shite happens in one or two games every season. If you don’t realize that fact you’ll never enjoy any season that’s not undefeated…

What if, just, just what if the defensive linemen were frequently being held? Could that have had any impact on being able to generate a pass rush?

Re-occurring issues against teams with a pulse. Erase the game analysis against the 4 very bad teams, same liabilities keep emerging with no adjustments.

That fumble is because Sam has zero situational awareness.

Besides #90 and #99, this is a pretty “soft” defense. Arm tackling over and over by the DBs

You guys are killing me.What about the fact that all of our LB’s vacated the middle of the field allowing Minchey a clear path to the end zone. Even the analyst for the game mentioned it.

We turned it over twice and gave up a special teams TD.

We had no joke 10-15 opportunities to close it out and didn’t.

Kentucky plays a very boring solid football, but they win.

awful punt coverage

#97 had the angle. If he’s not pushed in the back the returner doesn’t take it the distance.
