Thought some of you might want to tune in

Sounds like they know they are in for a cage match

they don’t understand depth apparently

I hope they go tempo and we get to reenact the 2011 Oregon game, with defensive linemen slapping the ground telling the offense to hurry up. I'm willing to bet our second string is better than their second string.

Pretty much everyone can see that our OL is awful. I don't think we turn the corner until something changes on the offensive line.

They also posted a long winded analysis of last year’s offense so apparently they don’t believe we’re making any changes there

Understandably, they seem to be putting a ton of stock into LAST season's Sugar Bowl win over UGA. Perhaps that is a win that propels even greater success this season. However, you can't ignore that (1) MANY of the players from the game vs. UGA won't be suiting up for Texas against LSU and (2) Putting too much emphasis, good or bad, in a bowl game can be a fools errand.

Unlike the regular season, motivation can VERY MUCH be a concern in a bowl game. Aside from the fact UGA's best defensive player voluntarily elected to sit out the game (something that would not have happened in the regular season), how fired up for the Sugar Bowl does any one really think Georgia was? In 2017 they played for the national championship and were a few plays here or there from winning it. In 2018 they were a play or two from getting back to the CFP. Frankly, the Sugar Bowl was a huge letdown for UGA relative to the success they had experienced in the past two seasons.

On the other hand, Texas had just experienced their first winning (regular) season in 5 years. They were playing in their first major bowl game in nearly 10 years!

Who do you think gave more of a shite about being in the Sugar Bowl? For UGA it was a consolation prize. For Texas it was the biggest bowl game in 10 years

Love their “we beat UGA the SEC is a joke”

Conveniently forgetting they lost to fricking Maryland.

It's not the worst breakdown I've seen but def reads like somebody looked at some stats, the roster, and recruiting rankings.

LSU will not blitz "early and often". Watch the tape.

I also don't see how they come to the conclusion that they have a big advantage at the skill positions.

We blitz often we just don’t send the house.

Aranda likes to get numbers by moving guys around not by just overloading the line

you want to shut them up. tell them that LSU "O" had a higher ppg scoring avg than their horns last year.

They all are actually very calm, collective, and intelligent. If anyone from Orangebloods reads this, I salute you guys. I agree, should be a slug fest. Looking forward to it.

I pray this is how their team is looking at this game. Aranda will wreck their hearts in week 2.

In 2013 Alabama settled for the Sugar Bowl after missing out on the playoffs due to the miracle loss at Auburn. This was after spending two years as national champions

OU beat Bama and EVERYONE just knew the dynasty was over and they were regressing. Since that Sugar Bowl loss Bama hasn't missed the CFP and has played for the national championship the last 4 years.

Similarly, Bama lost to Utah in the 2008 Sugar Bowl after coming up short of the BCSNCG due to the loss vs. Florida in the SECCG. In 2009 they went undefeated and won the national title (coincidentally the last year Texas was relevant).

The point being, Bama didn't really give a shite about playing in either Sugar Bowl because it was a HUGE letdown after being so close to playing for a championship. (just like UGA didn't give a shite in last year's Sugar Bowl).

Texas may very well beat LSU. But using the Sugar Bowl game as some sort of predictive tool is asinine.

They also forget that their defense is actually a joke.

Just to add fuel to the fire there were somehow more Texas fans on Reddit shitting on LSU for the whole AD pulling funds deal than any other school

Many are pretty level headed. They know we are more talented across the board. They are banking on our OL sucking. Pretty sure that won’t be the case. Also work Chiasson healthy, we won’t have to blitz as much for pressure

UGA was a good team last year but they had a tendency to shite the bed.

They played a shite game against us. Bad tackling blown coverage. And we took them to the woodshed.

A completely healthy o-line worked UGA's front 7 like a rented mule. UT ain't running anything out there even close on the defensive side of the ball.
