That ump wanted to go home for Easter Sunday.

Turns out it backfired and he was there for 3 more innings.

looks like it's at the kne for the forward knee. That's a strike right?

If that’s what it takes to get Arrambide to hit a grand slam then I hope it happens every game, release the Cracken.

Slow it down to .25 speed, looks like it crosses his front leg at the knees...wouldn't that be a strike?

Just based off videos and even the score graphic LSU posted with Cade in the background, his front foot is pretty much inline with the front of home plate

i think it crossed as a ball but its not nearly the egregious call as what it first appears to be.

It looked low to me, but not nearly as bad as it looked in real time. I thought the pitch before this one was a hair low, and this one was lower than that. Regardless, It ended up energizing us and hopefully will give us a jolt for the back half of the season.

Based on the above pics, I overlapped both images to reference the ball at 2 different positions. Does it prove anything??? Not really because check out the camera location ... past the 1B dugout. I think the ball was below the kneecaps, as an inconsistent ump late in the game will call that pitch either way.

glad it worked out for the good guys

I’m glad it happened and ticked off our coach. Fired the team up and led to an epic 12th inning.

The absolute best part of that was the Vols thinking they had the game & series won.

However, as they say..........that's basaball!!

The ball goes below the knee well in front of the plate.

I know it’s where it crosses the batter, but the catcher’s glove is on the ground right behind the plate receiving it.

So what does that have to do with where it crossed the batter?

I mean, that's halfway to his ankle.

I tend to think the delayed call and/or pitch was just the proverbial "straw". This probably was building up in Jay the entire weekend.

AFTER THE PLATE!
It's a breaking ball. It BREAKS down. In that image the ball is past the plate and just below knee level.
Find the image of the ball before the plate, draw a line. It's over the knee and drops below it AFTER the plate.
It’s a strike.
We won.
Doesn’t matter.
