AJ McCarron.... on 1/9/12.

Best single player performacne didn't even get a touchdown. TM7's demise in that game is incredibly overstated

McFadden - especially since it was a VERY important game. We still got into the NC game that year due to some luck, with multiple teams losing ahead of us, but we REALLY needed to win that game, and just couldn't stop him. He got in the wildcat formation to take a direct snap and everyone knew he was running, but we still couldn't stop it. Just a dominant performance in a big, big game.

Shaun Alexander
Steve Walsh- in the Miami Hurricane game- Rained sideways and so hard I could not see the other side of the stadium, yet Walsh was gantastic
Quincy Carter- looked like greatest QB ever against our D that night-he was so accurate-unreal
DMac & Sidekick- Recent, you should have all seen this
Scam Newton-What defense?
Greg Hill-RB from A&M in 1991
For those who were not around yet or who forgot, here from Wikipedia:
He starred collegiately at Texas A&M, where in 1991 he made an immediate impact in the first game of his freshman year by rushing for 212 yards (which is still an NCAA freshman debut record) in a 45-7 Aggie thrashing of LSU. He would go on to set the A&M freshman rushing record that year at 1,216 yards.

I'm going with my main man Lacour on this one.

wasn't Irons (Auburn) cockily predicting he would rush for 200 yards, then he actually did it?

Either Cam or McFadden/Felix/Hillis. Both were devastating.

Roy Williams-2003 Cotton. Vaunted Saban secondary/defense. Single handedly won that game.
1 carry for 39 yds TD
4 rec for 142 yds TD.
Only 2 td's, but I remember him galloping all over the Cotton Bowl like a runaway gazelle.
39 yds a touch.
I was in burnt orange for that game

Gotta give real consideration to Irons for the trash talking factor

Good one...
How about EVERY game against John Bond from MSU in the 80's................

Not correct. The Bama O-LINE DOMINATED LSU that night.........

Archie Manning on a very mediocre Ole Miss team single handedly beating LSU in 1969 deserves mentioning

My vote. He kicked arse, at will.

Shaun Alexander and it isn't even close

I would say Cam Newton or Shaun Alexander off the top of my head. Out of those 2 I think I'd have to choose Cam. What he did to us was just sickening.

How about Clausen in the 2nd half in 2005?
Dang, beat me to it. If talking about performance personally for that player (meaning they played out of their mind/abilities). This has to be the answer.
My first thought was Shaun Alexander, then Run DMC.
That game when Alexander went nuts was freezing. Luckily I was in the Stadium Club.

We would have won that game if Jerel Meyers could catch a pass.

That game was ruined my childhood.
Watching vy worm up before the game was pretty cool though.

Quincy Carter had a huge game against us in 1998...
27 of 34 for 318 yards and two touchdowns...completed first 15 passes

Q Carter and S Alexander were the first 2 that came to mind.
