Ours is almost 3 and we read to her every night and she loves it (and so do we). I hope we get to do it for many more years to come.

Uptown Dallas - $1,800/mo. + random fees/expenses for one 2 y/o...and then another couple hundred every few months for added on soccer and dance classes. We're going to have a real discussion about whether hiring a full-time nanny is the better option if/when we have a second kid.

I'm an attorney and consider myself very happy. Practiced in Louisiana to start my career and then moved to Texas...I recommend avoiding practicing in Louisiana altogether (unless you have family keeping you there) – salary and quality of life are both generally quite a bit better in the big Texas cities than anywhere in Louisiana.

Honestly…everything got way better. Can’t believe I stayed in Louisiana for over 10 years after graduating from LSU. Absolutely love the people, food, etc. in Louisiana, but it’s just not worth it. Will enjoy my 2-3 trips back every year to see friends, family and the Tigers.

As many others have already said, you should be perfectly fine during the day, but things can get pretty shady in Deep Ellum once it gets dark.

I've never changed my opinion about a player as fast as I did this year with Grayson Allen. He's been awesome and seems to have really grown up. I'm very happy the Suns were able to lock him up for a few more years!

Yes, I use Apple Pay for most things now - it was especially helpful when we were in Italy last year.

Also, 100% agree. While I wouldn't call it the best Mexican restaurant on the planet, it is DAMN good. Ki Mexico, Frank's and Lucky Palace could all easily hold their own in any bigger city. These 3 and El Cabo Verde (off Southern Loop) are the food spots that I actually miss from Shreveport.

I never really experienced this until we had a baby...now everyone always tries to FaceTime us just so they can see the baby. I get it...but it can still be pretty annoying, especially when I have to try to hold the phone/iPad in front of a toddler who can't sit still.

2007 while I was in undergrad had a bunch of classics. Florida and Auburn games from that year were amazing. The triple OT loss to Arkansas was even a great game...just awful ending for the good guys. Joe Burrow's senior night demolition of a&m in 2019 was amazing, even if the actual game itself wasn't great.

Just found out our daycare is closed on Friday for observation of Veterans Day

All of the random holidays that daycare takes off (but we don't have off work) is really annoying...not to mention all the little germy kids getting each other sick every week. Don't know how people do it without family or a strong support system close by.
