If true... good lord, Alleva is a clown.

That's crazy. Can't believe the powers in charge have let it get this far.

It's time for a change at AD now more than ever.

I can't believe any of you are surprised that F.King Alexander would care. He and Alleva are buddies, and i'd be very surprised if anything was done to Alleva.

Alleva knows he screwed up with the hire of O. He's trying to ride it out until he can get away with firing him, at least that's what I am hoping. I mean what does O do exactly?

We are in a lot of trouble, there is no way we can land a quality coach with Alleva.

It's possible that he's doing it only to make sure that the HC is actually watching film.

Isn't that even worse

If this is true
It was apparently confirmed to be true by BOTH coordinators.
link?
I respect Chris Landry a lot.

He didn't say what JPLSU1981 is saying he said, and the coordinators didn't say what JPLSU1981 is saying they said.

I hate threads like these where the OP takes shite out of context or outright lies, and posters run with it until the damn thing has gone on for 12 pages.

Nobody frickING said that Alleva is directing the offense and defense in the background.

Apparently what happened is that Alleva reminded O of his promise to let his coaches coach, and he did it at the meeting with the coordinators.

To recap: Alleva is not directing the offense or defense in the background. O was reminded to let his coordinators run their side of the ball. The coordinators were empowered to run their side of the ball.

Landry is not a fan of how it went down, but it was a simple reminder to O of his promise to let his coaches coach.

Unprecedented and highly unprofessional actions of an AD.

Let everyone listen for themselves... I can guarantee you Alleva doesn't want fans listening to that podcast of how this is playing out behind the scenes, because it is an absolute disaster management-wise.

As a matter of fact, Joe is that you? Anyone that would defend Joe on this topic is either close to his camp or Joe himself.

And now this thread should disappear.

And JD, STTDB!

Just the fact that the head coach had to promise not to coach should have been a giant red flag for Alleva.

WTF was he thinking making this hire?

Who's lying here Joe?

The podcast and information speaks for itself. Why don't you let the public listen for themselves?

Chris Landry has more connections than anyone. He doesn't make this stuff up.

Now I don't know what his relationship is to Alleva, but I do know that he is a highly-respected guy in football circles.
