Lol! Ain't gonna happen.
Exactly! And the news is that they are now undercutting those loyal to the university which is counted on as guaranteed income. Take the guaranteed income away and you have a situation where your program suffers. The ticket office should not offer tickets for $1 less than face value if they want to sustain long term profitability.
Hence why the season ticket holders will not continue and it will eventually be aweful for LSU. But will likely force change! Why would any season ticket holder logically continue to take a complete bath on their tickets and parking passes if they can only get 1/4 of the paid value? There will definitely be a huge turnover come renewal time. Being able to come close to recouping the face value to unused tickets makes things more tolerable but as stated, their is a law of diminishing returns and we are past that. Add to it the donation requirement and things get really ugly!

Well in my case I have bought 12 season tickets for 31 years. I give them to friends and family. Not everyone can go to every game. I would think that logically, I should not be in competition with LSU if I want to sell a few games when all my tickets aren't used.

You obviously don't understand the tax code. One doesn't recover their donations via tax deduction. Depending on tax bracket, only a portion of contributions is allowed not dollar for dollar. There is no way to rationalize that argument for he average season ticket holder.

No they haven't as this is the first year of stubhub. They also had a waitlist until this year. No waitlist equals 35k extra tickets they must sell to fill the place. Right now you are lucky if you get 1/2 of face value for any home game no matter where they are located.
The point is that if for no home game you can get premium tickets on Stubhub for less than face value plus all the drama associated with the program, longtime season ticket holders like myself will not continue.
Is LSU ticket office dumping tickets on Stubhub?

Word is the LSU ticket office is dumping excess tickets below face value on Stubhub. If this is accurate it is total crap to the season ticket holders. This sets the market and screws those 65k that are loyal season ticket holders. Wait until next year when you see a mass dumping of season tickets!
