They let Bru McCoy transfer immediately from UT to USC for much less than what may come our way

Freeze would give you last years product constantly. Beating Bama would become the norm, not a 1 year exception.

IMO he'll be alright. What ya gonna do fire him in an abbreviated Covid-19 season when everything is screwed up? Heck we're not even sure the Bama - LSU game will be played next week. This ChiCom Kung Flu has everybody on edge. Dang near impossible to keep everybody healthy with this virus. Actually this might play to LSU's benefit. You know give lots of players (including young QB's) some playing experience.

Just go with the flo.....

Yea get rid of him a year after he won the NC and lost 75% of his starters.

What's Special Ed done for us lately, other than white wash sexual assault allegations, and take this team to laughing stock levels?

This isn't the rant where we fire the entire coaching staff after every game. That's not how it works in the real world. O jusy got a 6 year $42 million contract extension after last season. His buyout is $27 million if he's fired this year. Pelini's buyout is somewhere between 5-7 million. LSU and the boosters aren't forking over $30+ million to clean house.

That’s why everyone is saying if he is tied to this title IX stuff he will be fired with cause meaning zero buyout to O.

If that sexual allegation stuff blows up oh the karma for a guy who stabbed miles in the back with a knife and twisted it.

You know what the best outcome for all true LSU fans is? For O to get this ship turned...to finish recruiting off with a flourish...to keep the roster intact for next year and to start winning big again.

I know it's exciting to talk about new coaches but we need continuity. This year had to go absolutely perfectly for us to win 8 games. It didn't.

If he doesn't make changes and we underachieve next year, then it would be time to move on. I'm not O's biggest fan by any stretch, but he doesn't deserved to be fired after this season IMO.

It’s painfully obvious that majical 2019 season had more to do with Burrow, Brady , and Aranda than O. The stars aligned and O hit the lottery just like Chizik at Auburn.

If LSU's legal team says there is enough to fire CEO for cause, then CEO is gone.

Will Wades situation put Woodard in a bad spot and he controversially didn’t move on it.
Because of that pass and the seriousness of sexual assault mismanagement, Ed O is in serious trouble. Woodard will pull the trigger fast.... he’s not going down with that ship.

A lot of people in this thread hoping these investigations find wrongdoing, just so LSU has an out to fire Coach O is pretty disturbing. I hope its not true and Coach O can turn this program back around and get us winning again.

Allegations and covid aside, you don't fire a championship winning coach the year after for bad performance. Y'all need to get realistic.

It’s a legitimate view to believe O is not the answer, and his 6-25 SEC record without Aranda and/or Brady indicate. While not wanting the stigma of Title IX findings, if LSU can get out from an awful contract to a marginalized coach it could work for the better.

Ordinarily I’d agree that you don’t fire a coach one year after a natty, O has proven to be the “coon arse that won the lottery” in his choices and actions.
