You were right.

You said the program wasn’t infallible and that the grass wasn’t always greener

You spent years on here, outnumbered till his end, arguing that there are things worse than Les.

I never imagined a 4-8 season

“A monkey could win 9 games at lsu” we extolled with hubristic vibrancy

How wrong we were

It’s what happens when you have Feckless AD like Alleva

Alleva wanted to fire Miles, but at the hint of him going to Ark, getting played by an Agent, he extended him…that’s after knowing the internal issues that weren’t public….let that sink in

SW would have thanked Ed and hired a real coach.

Just because O sh!t the bed doesn't mean it wasn't also time for Miles to leave. Miles showed a complete inability to evolve with the game.

Y’all are ridiculous. Les had to go. He made the program stale. O came in, won a title and went full retard. We have won 3 titles with 3 different coaches in a row. Not many programs can say that, in fact I don’t think any can say that. All we need is the right coach and the ship will be righted fast.

What comes around goes around. In this case, we treated Miles like shite and at that time, he deserved to be let go in a better fashion. He needed to go but not like they did it. That karma eventually caught up to Orgeron now too. Twisting a knife in Miles back, acting like he was untouchable after winning a NC, his so-called coaching buddies telling him thanks but no thanks to come down here to bail his arse out. He even got punked by Aranda and Brady with shitty coordinator hires. Now he has his back against a wall. Karma came back to bite you in the arse Coach O.

He went from Hero to Zero in probably record time. I don't think anyone can ever say they had the greatest NCAA team ever and then completely destroyed a program in record fashion like he did. Talking about a full circle on karma catching up.

Almost none of us that thought 0 was shite thought Miles should remain the coach. It was never an either/or scenario.

We got a 15-0 season with an offense for the ages, with a Heisman-winning quarterback we wouldn't have had in a hundred years with Miles, also.

Unfortunately, we got two miserable years and a dysfunctional coach, also. But for all his faults (and Lord, there are many), even Ed isn't quite the sleaze bag Miles was. Close, but not equal.

Les would have been fired by now, anyway, when his appetite for young girls surfaced in public, or his arcane offense took us to the depths we are now. I'll never miss sleaze Miles or bubble head Orgeron.

Nah, screw that. I want championships. Even if it means shitty seasons in-between, you have to consistently strive for greatness and you can't accept Les' constant 9-3 type seasons with the same perpetual issues

What world do you live in? O has the same appetite for young girls too. He's a sleeze bag all the same. He even has a con man running a PR propaganda campaign for him.

This is unadulterated bullshite. There would be no 2019 championship with that blockhead Miles at the helm. Regardless of what is going on now, the past years with Orgeron(who needs to go) are vastly better than they would have been with Miles.

This monkey won a national championship going away. I'll take it.

100% this. The issue wasn't firing Les itself. Even Rickdaddy and Beefense admitted it was time to move on.

The issue was firing him midseason only to promote his DL coach to the job permanently. A DL coach with an already horrible resume as a head coach. It's rather incredible how many fans were comfortable with that.

Well, trying to be as gentle as I can be to a dead man walking. I suppose we always knew Ed was a dishonest, swarmy horndog. But Miles fooled us, which makes me even more distrustful of him.

And his offense, of course. Always his offense.
