How many drops/ targets Bech had vs Boutte? Boutte absolutely pulled up on catches to avoid contact while Bech took hits to make catches.
I just wished BK would have put Boutte out there to receive punts and KOs so that the playing field was even.
One more thing about Bech, he never acted like a little bitch when he wasn't being targeted.

Boutte had 32 more receptions than Bech.
Bech isn’t on the same level as Boutte. Hell he had less receptions than Jaray Jenkins, Brian Thomas Jr. and Kyren Lacey just in the WR room. Compare him to them before trying to compare him Boutte.

The most annoying thing about the transfer portal is listening to these guys bitch about how they weren’t treated fairly. You got playing time as a freshman and you arse got benched cause you mufffed a punt off your face mask. Stop whining about you weren’t treated fairly.

It's not that difficult. He's not a true WR1, and LSU has 3-4 WR1s scratching and crawling for reps. Koy Moore is more talented than Bech and he had to transfer for playing time. The reason Bech made such an impact was because he was one of the few players who gave a damn last year and played a lot out of the TE position.
Bech is fast enough, but not the fastest. He has good hands, but they're not elite. He's tough and loves the game, for sure. He would make a solid option on many SEC teams, but not on a team where Shelton Sampson will be your 5/6 and Boutte is playing out of the slot.

When the ball gets forced to him after pouting on the sidelines and still doesn't make the catch?
You can be the best receiver on the team and if the coach and QB decide to pass to someone else because that's where the QB is comfortable throwing, that player will have more catches.
Bech is the guy to make catches between the hash marks and Daniels can't hit a receiver across the middle with any consistency.

Ok they forced the ball to Boutte because he pouted. Even if I give you that explains why there were 5 other receivers and a running back with more receptions than Bech. Did they all pout and got the ball forced to them.

It really was shitty to have Kyren Lacy walk in from ULaLa and get more targets than Bech.
Hated when Taylor would flex out too.
What Bech/Max/Peetz were able to accomplish should concern you a bit about the current regime.

Just another reason Polian has to go. Sabotaged both him and Malik, directly responsible for the FSU loss and killing any chance against UT and UGA.

He will do good at TCU catch lots of passes but won’t mean much but to him in the grand scheme of things, kinda like Trey ?? That went to SMU, had a few catches in NFL ( cannot be denied he made it) but once NFL defended him petered out
