And, I know people that were very close to him.

That’s complete bullshite. Now, did he enjoy Mr Ed? Nope.

There’s a notable element that won’t be around soon.

I mean how would you feel if you were as smart as he is and had to deal with both Les and Ed?

Aranda was very intellectual. Completely different style than O (and a lot of the culture). He liked CLM though. I thought he should have been top of the list when CLM was fired.

The Aranda family lived in UC. The family consist of two girls and one boy. They loved UC and BR. The two oldest are girls that excelled at almost anything at Dunham. The son (R) would be around 5th grad now.
Most important—- Ms Aranda (Dione) has a lot of friends at BR and wants to come back.

All this said—-I have no sauces and have no clue if Scott has any interest in hiring Coach Aranda.

Personal opinion — I think it would be a great hire.

I would assume Scott would be trying to lure some bigger fish to LSU, but I feel like he would be the perfect fit. He’s obviously not going to have the larger than life personality, but he seems very calculated in everything he does. The university can recruit for itself if you’re playing great football. I would pair him with Tom Herman assuming Grimes get a serious look from Baylor if DA came back.

I have no idea whether or not he liked coaching for Orgeron or not. I did find it odd that Orgeron took what seemed to me as subtle jabs at Aranda after he left. It made me think that there could possibly be something personal that Orgeron had against Aranda.

I think he liked LSU, but he didn’t like O

They don’t seem to have much in common

There was a lot of tension regarding the defensive side of the ball.

So glad he hired a guy he didn’t even interview. Don’t want any tension going forward with assistants so don’t sit down and hash out their plan for the team before hiring.

Everybody seems to forget this. I believe Aranda would love to come back here and lead the Tigers.

Imagine being smart, detailed, organized and sophisticated and having to answer to someone like O. Can’t say I blame him.

He rarely recruited at LSU and recruiting is garbage at Baylor. He's using the portal. Hard pass.

Aranda couldn’t stand CEO, I don’t know it was the University.

If Dave is given full reign of the program and a big fat salary, that might be attractive
