It’s not just BR. Supply and demand for any city that hosts an event. I would do it too if I was in the hotel business.

We’re staying at the Renaissance for 3 nights. Booked a while back. The hotels down in Gonzales are cheaper.

The hassle responding to a regulatory agency is worth it …

Just got to be a little bit more proactive with planning...

Once the official schedule is announced, at the top of the year I usually book the home games im interested in attending before the prices go up. You always have until the week of the game to cancel without being charged.

I mean.....yes thats robbery but how do you not expect this?

I book my hotel a year in advance before the gouging starts. I book flexible rates for every Saturday in the fall, then once the home schedule is released I cancel the away games... because its flexible I can cancel week of.

Ill be staying 2 nights for about $450 total for Texas...bout what I paid for clemson.

Yes it takes some effort, but we'll worth it imo

I hear ya, man. It is frustrating, but typical of game days in SEC towns. I typically stay in Lafayette or Hammond, depending on which direction I want to head.
