LSU is scheduled to make 13 network TV appearances during the regular season – nine on the SEC Network, two on ESPN2 and two on ESPNU.

In addition, 38 regular-season games will be carried on SEC Network +, the online platform available at SECNetwork.com and the WatchESPN app.

For these games you will need a cable/streaming subscription. For the 38 SEC Network + games, you will have to watch through the espn app and log in with your cable/streaming credentials.

LSU’s games at Rice (Feb. 28) and at Southeastern Louisiana (March 6) will appear on ESPN+, the online subscription-based network.

These games you will not be able to watch with a cable/streaming subscription. You will have to have ESPN+ which is a separate subscription.

Of course we will still get weekly threads asking how to watch games, even though it has been explained for several years now.

Kendall, I swear to Dylan Crews, D1 better not touch this unless you are the absolute last remaining option.

Can't wait for the inevitable "I have ESPN on EATEL, why can't I find the Rice game?" threads.

To be fair, ESPN does a really poor job showing it's customers the differentiation between all of these options, but then again, that may be by design

Let's hope the somebody remembers to plug in the fricking cameras this year.

fricking clown show over in Hammond. We should have taken them out of the away game rotation altogether for that shite.

^^^All of this^^^

I would have rathered see us end playing at SLU forever after that shite show and travel to Laffy to play ULL at the newly expanded Tigue.

The final weekend (May 16-18) shows SECN+ but it’s actually TBD. One SEC game will be on ESPN2 and some others SECN.

These are the matchups

AWAY HOME
Missouri - Mississippi St
Florida - Georgia
Vanderbilt - Kentucky
South Carolina - Tennessee
Alabama - Auburn
Arkansas - Texas A&M
Ole Miss - LSU

SEC seems to have wanted some banger series on the last weekend. That's a lot of good matchups.

I like it. Should have 4-6 teams with a mathematical chance to win the SEC heading into the final weekend series.

Of course LSU will be up by 3 full games and will sweep Ole Miss anyway so it won’t matter.

Jay likes to get the team prepared to travel and play in an away environment before SEC play starts.

Jay hates the cold, and we shouldn’t need the night environment to beat these teams.

As far as playing at 2PM on opening day, Jay likes to simulate a regional by bringing in 2 teams and playing 4 days in a row. He chooses the 2PM start to ensure we get the game in on Friday and try to remain on schedule if weather is a threat.

Every team also has to fit 56 games in the schedule, which means 2 midweek games twice. To avoid having those 2 midweek games during SEC play, he plays 4 games each of the first two weekends.

You should get used to this format with the exception of the Houston Classic, which is by invite. He likes to play in these away tournaments early, which can be any of the first 4 weekends, but promised to not take away opening day at the Box.
