The question isn't about why we play road games in general. It's about why we're playing that at that Hooterville ballpark specifically.

After the shite they pulled last year with the broadcast, we should never play there again.

It's kind of weird we're playing at Southeastern two years in a row. It's usually a few seasons in between in-state road trips for a particular school.

Agreed.

I hope they're not using the Fall games as a reason to not go to McNeese for the regular season. Nicholls will be pretty good this year too, even if the stadium is smaller it would still be an away game at a quality opponent.

Southeastern downgraded their coaching staff, IMO.

No doubt.

That's why I'd like to see them schedule some away games against ULL played in Lafayette. They expanded capacity at their stadium and usually have a quality team that shouldn't hurt our RPI as much as a smaller school with a weaker program.

On top of that it is sort of centrally located compared to schools like Tulane, UNO and SLU. Regardless of whatever school you schedule in state, it will be their "world series" and we'll get their best effort.

Play Southeastern twice; one in Hammond and one in Baton Rouge.

The network for LSU’s games March 1-3 in Houston at the Astros Foundation Collegiate Classic has not yet been announced.

The tournament has been on AT&T Sportsnet SW. Hopefully that doesn’t change.
