Back when everybody was analyzing the roster after the draft, the consensus was that Chris Reid would be gone. Not sure what the surprise is. The numbers are what they are.

Still kinda sucks. I mean I get it...but certainly would have preferred it not be Reid.

The last guy will definitely be a pitcher now, a lot were expecting it to be 2 pitchers to get down to 18 pitchers, now we have 20 pitchers currently 1 above the limit @ 36

Transfer from Tulane. Sat out last season as a regular student. Presumably a walk on.

Veitmeier and Moffit seem likely cut candidates. One of them could be gone. My wildcard would be Storz. I don’t want to see him leave, but his career is starting to look a lot like Latz. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Veitmeier showed some promise earlier on in the season. His injury seemed to really hurt him. I don't know if Moffitt is 'untouchable', but he seems the most likely candidate.

I know chris’s parents a bit. This sucks, sounds like he was definitely cut yesterday. They remain classy.

Vietmeier just had a decent summer, he's definitely not the worst pitcher we have left...
Moffitt is clearly the worst pitcher on the staff left, but being the son of a current LSU coach, hard to imagine.
Who knows, it could be someone nobody is expecting.

One of the best coaches around. That's the kind. It's his job to do what's best for LSU. Tough decisions have to be made. Thanks for your efforts Chris and good luck.
