You went out of your way to create an account and then make a complaining post about CPM. You're definitely somehow connected.

Certainly not Chris Reid or Matt Gaudet

2 of the first 3 posters have single digit post counts. Seems fishy.

Let's not lose focus and keep this thread on track.
Who's next in line for starting towel waver? Moffit? What about a freshman? They're all pretty tall. Not the best crop we've ever had.

Has Paul Mainieri started cutting already?

The OP is clearly Chris Reid, right?

I would’ve preferred keeping Reid over Moffitt. Looks like Reese is gone too. Not sure if that’s news or I just missed it

Tiger Rag
Veteran infielder Chris Reid is no longer a part of the LSU baseball program, LSU coach Paul Mainieri said in a phone interview with Tiger Rag.
The news comes as LSU is faced with an overmanned roster going into the 2018-19 season due to a large recruiting class and unexpected returns from draft-eligible players. LSU will begin fall practices with 36 players, Mainieri said, which is one above the NCAA limit.
“It was just a coach’s decision as far as personnel goes,” Mainieri said. “As you know, we were at 37 guys and we have to be at 35 by the time the season begins. Looking at the roster that we have, with some of the guys that are returning that we thought we might lose, we had to make some tough decisions. This was a tough decision obviously to not keep Chris for this next year.”

im guessing Reid has a partial part of scholarship that they need

Would have been too late for that.
ETA: And no way Reid had anything being a backup infielder living 20 minutes from campus.

Kind of a bummer. Oh well, decisions had to be made.

No.
A 3rd string infielder that went to private school and lives in BR does not have any scholarship.

I’m pretty sure all the kids that are on scholarship in baseball have partial scholarships When you only have 11.7 to give out to a 35 man roster. This is where the TOPS scholarship has helped in the past
