You will learn nothing from him if you sit besides him. He will probably bash the people he is sitting next to.

Tanner Reaves may very well start here, he’s the other person in contention. Reaves has a bit more quick twitch muscles, different build, but plays stiffer defensively at times. Tanner for his build generates excellent bat speed and pop, had a number of balls that I thought would leave the ballpark that were long fly balls a season ago. With that being said Tanner struggles at times putting the ball in play, isn’t much of a threat on the base paths, and doesn’t have the strongest arm…because of this the pathway to playing time for Reaves is simple…maintain a high OBP and prove to be a stable glove. Because of this he makes more sense as a depth piece or in a platoon/pinch hit role.

He was suppose to start last year and got beat out by Braswell.

You said the pitching staff was not as good as advertised and i'm 10000% correct on that. Crawfish all you want on that statement but its 100% true..

Then why did you spend the entire season running around saying I said the pitching staff was as good as advertised, only to change it to saying the opposite after it turns out the pitching staff was good?

But he found himself. No where did i say i was not impressed with the whole pitching staff like you said.

I literally quoted stuff you said about the pitching staff.

Are you really this fricking stupid? Now this is enough. Please stop with your constant BS. Please let us enjoy the season.

This. This thread is for this season’s preview. Not to argue about who said what last season.

I agree. But this moron says the same exact thing in EVERY thread. Sorry that this happened to be the place I tried to end it. If it doesn't stop this will be in every thread throughout this entire year from him. I would like to just be able to enjoy the board during the season, and the fact that he does it (unprovoked) in this thread pissed me off.

Carraway at 2B and Simpson/Pearson at 3rd/DH against a righty, but I can't remember if carraway has spent time there since coming here. I remember him getting reps at SS, but not 2B.

Carraway will stay on the left side I think.

Jay made a comment recently about Pearson still having work to do offensively.

I think Reaves, Dardar and Simpson will play the most at 2B. I don’t think Ruckert is a factor.

Reaves is a poor defender but Dardar does not have a ton of range. Simpson may be the best defensively there.

Simpson will play some 1B and OF too

This is good to hear. I haven’t seen Simpson play, but I have high hopes for him.
22 home runs, 24 doubles, and a 1.251 OPS last year at High Point. Regardless of the competition, that’s some impressive numbers.

Brayden Simpson is another option here but will most likely see playing time at another position.
The fourth guy you mentioned.

They will alternate during the non conference schedule then Jay will go with the hot hand. Reaves couldn't beat out Braswell last year he's not beating out Dardar or Simpson this year.
