I’m totally opposite of your thinking

My guess was based mainly on college experience. Nothing against Dutton’s pitchability.

Bollman and Gause were recruited off of Twitter videos of them throwing bullpens. They had decent to good juco numbers after they committed but were strange takes at the time and never really seemed to elevate their game. Gause left at the semester break. Bollman doesn’t look like he’s on track to contribute either.

I cannot wait to watch Jordan Thompson play this season. He is poised for a special season. Glad to see him get some at bats today after his injury. He will leave LSU being an All American.

Blake Money got in shape, shaved his head, took on a whole new demeanor.

I'm excited to see Blake Money this season no matter the role. The guy has really put in work.

I feel like he's going to stick with Cooper on opening weekend.

Fontenot
Cooper
Hilliard

If they're intent on keeping Reyz in the pen, I'd really like to see Fontenot pair with him on the back end. Having 3 big arms like Reyz, Fontenot, and Gervase back there would be insane. But, we'll need others to step up at the front end to make that a thing - or, maybe Reyz and Fontenot become our Friday/Saturday starters and we piece the rest together.

So many different possibilities when you consider the approach that Jay has in just piecing games together.

From everything I've read from Coach Johnson, I don't know if a weekend rotation will ever be consistent. Expect a lot of bullpen games. He has been outspoken about how much he loves how Tampa Bay handles their pitching.

I’m sure he’s just playing the hand he has. If you have an Aaron Nola or Alex Lange you try to get 8 or 9 out of them if feasible.

STARTING PITCHING

The rotation is a complete and udder mystery right now.

I guess Jason Kelly will have to milk it for everything it's worth.

Funny, but that might not hit home. Just to be sure, it's "utter". "Udder" is a cow's tit.

Why though? I thought this guy was a done deal Friday night guy, no?

I didn't even notice that. At this point I'm leaving it.

No, they've kept his work load low and almost never at the beginning of games.

That was purely speculation on this board at the time of his signing. nothing the coaching staff has done or said has backed that up since then.

He hasn’t been stretched out at all. He’s a late inning reliever/fireman

Morgan and Doughty were supposedly on Moscona today in the last 20-30 mins. Anybody hear? Anything worth repeating?

Good info. Both good kids, from my experiences with them.
