Happy for him. Wish he could’ve done that when he played at LSU… oh well

Kling was given every opportunity here. STFU.

Kaleb Applebey might finally be healthy and starting to put it together at Austin Peay.

ETA: pulling for Kling. He seemed to always be a good teammate here.

I hope Brady Neal never makes contact with another baseball for the rest of his life.

no, talent has never been a question about Kling. He can have a day just like yesterday and then proceed to have only 2-3 hits the next 3 series. He’s very inconsistent at the plate. If he’s finally figured it out he’s a top 70 pick.

Agreed; he’s prob been through more emotional/mental highs and lows than 99% of current players and still keep on keeping on. Hope he can keep it up and get his nest egg in June.

I think Jay wouldn’t promise Kling a starting spot thinking he’d hit big in the portal, but that kinda backfired I think. Same with Brady Beal

I see both perspectives, but in the end lsu didn’t really upgrade.

Im a big Kling fan and wish he would have stayed, but Stanfield hit .285 last year in the SEC while Kling was at .189. Not sure we can say we did or did not upgrade just yet. Non conference never really was the question for Kling.

With that said I hope he hits .350 with 20 bombs on the year!

It also can’t be underestimated what a change in scenery can do. Especially when you go to a place where 90% of the student body on your campus has no idea the team you play for exists.

.282 with no power is kind of mid. I think they kind of settled for Stanfield like they did with Braswell the year before.

Can someone fill me in on Brady Neal and his dad? I don't know much about the situation, but I take it there were problems?
