I haven't been thrilled with PM, situational awareness, and hitting at times. There are definitely things that need to be improved. Is he Les 2.0? In some regards, I absolutely see the parallel and believe that last year may have been his last year if not for Covid.

Some of you, however, are a bit overboard. Some of you are the same people who were calling for O's head one year removed from a 15-0 season.

Fan is short for fanatic. I get it. Keep being fanatical. Don't go bat-crap insane though.

Imagine only winning 1 national championship in 15 years as a HC with the amount of talent that has come through LSU. Unacceptable.

Everyone looks more concerned about being benched than performing up to their talent level
I hate it for a kid like Hellmers, that's a lot of pressure to be put on that that kid and PM admitted it himself

Have we had more or less talent come through the program in the last 15 years than other schools that have won championships?

Do you think Sullivan should be fired at Florida? He has had at minimum the same but I would say more talent in his time at Florida than CPM has had at LSU.

He also can find players to fill an extremely talented roster with a quarter tank of gas left in his vehicle lol.

I have a buddy who’s kid plays at a Jr college ... first year player.

He wants to go to ole miss next year.
I asked him why not LSU ? He said Dunn has reached out 4-5 times but that his kid hates Paul M. Doesn’t want to play for him.

It’s crazy how he has parallels to Les’s career. It’s truly time for him to go

Or he could pull a Coach O and bring in new people and new ideas and totally revamp the look of the program.

Honestly, it is early, but I see some of the same issues that have been around for several years. We do not have a third baseman again. The hitting will also be questionable this year. Bianco at shortstop, wow.

So he wants to go to Ole Miss and play for Bianco who has only one CWS in the entire time he has been at Ole Miss
Bianco was almost fired by the new AD after 19 season

He must have got message as Ole Miss started out strong last season and is #1 now but I'll reserve judgment until he gets into SEC play

Nothing against Drew Bianco but I haven't seen anything out of him in three years that makes me think he can be an everyday player and if not for name probably never would be on LSU's radar

CPM does this ever year, he throws the upper classmen out there and see if they fail. When they do he feels like he has a reason to play better and more promising freshman over them. I'm not saying I agree with this system but if you have followed baseball over the years and expect something else, you have not really been watching.

watch other games, and our players are just so damn tight. The body language is noticeable. It doesnt even look like they are having fun most of the time
But they can grow facial hair now.

This has been the sentiment for some time now. The word is out about how much he sucks.

Wait until it's too late? Let's see how he does next year and see.

So with your vast knowledge and playing time you ready to predict a season after 2 fricking games?

OK, it's only been one weekend, granted.

But the problem hasn't been solved, and so we shouldn't expect a sudden turnaround.

We have a head coach who has under-performed, despite being given elite facilities.

We had an administration that saw that one CWS title and sat back, assumed the program was in good hands and gifted the coach with an undeserved contract extension.

We have a head coach who acts like a nice guy and who always has time for a radio or TV interview, and the local media treats him as untouchable.

And now we have a new AD who probably doesn't want anything to seem messy, so he's letting the head coach retire on his own terms (and blame it on his hip, or whatever) after the 2022 (?) season.

So I expect disappointment for two more seasons, at least.
