CPM does this ever year, he throws the upper classmen out there and see if they fail. When they do he feels like he has a reason to play better and more promising freshman over them. I am lucky enough to have coached two players in this freshman class and coach against a few others in summer ball as well as high school in Louisiana. Safford and Drost are the two dark horses, I have seen both of these guys thrive and would love to see them get a chance at starting maybe a midweek...
