Actually, I'm fine with Nola bunting because he is a lousy hitter. He can do less damage laying down a bunt.
But the run scores regardless of the bunt. And the bunting is stupid crowd didn't say anything when he bunted... you're picking the fight and then acting indignant when the fight comes. You've offered almost nothing to support the notion that bunting is a good offensive strategy early in ballgames, particularly this one.
