Look at the replay. He took 3 steps after Sciv got the ball and Sciv took none. His left foot was almost at the line. It was 5 feet off.
Though I agree...
Who gives a shite?

but I ultimately blame the shitty throw for putting him in a bad position to make a tag.

If only he would make all the right decisions, we would never lose.

this is just one of those nights for us, we will bounce back. I'm really not concerned. USCe is one of the most dangerous teams in college baseball right now. They almost swept Texas A&M in college station and they found a way to come back on us.
That's all well and good but I really don't see much SC did that looked "dangerous" tonight. We went fairly brain dead with a 6-2 lead.

I sure hope we can beat TBA tomorrow.

I'm just fed up with manieiri. You can quote the record and say I'm crazy but his decisions have made some of those wins harder than they needed to be. And the ones we've lost, the majority have been because of a delay in making a change of some kind or just making the wrong decision regardless.
In the last 3 years CPM has put together some great teams. He makes questionable calls but he continues to put out some of the best teams in the country. LSU has been #1 for a while now, and we are clearly one of the best teams in the country. Sometimes baseball happens tonight is one of those nights.

Sciv was on his knees when he caught the ball, and was 6 feet in front of home. Just watched it again.

This ump is awful. He didn't call that exact same spot for us

that's what happens sometimes when a team is playing good baseball which USCe is. the 7th is all on us, but they got to Poche quick.

Yup. Walking in 3 runs? Just a huge implosion on our part.

this game won't matter much in the grand scheme of things. I still think we take the series, USCe practically used their only two good arms tonight.
