I hope we recruited players that are 6'4 250lbs. I'm tired of watching the baseball team's lack of Homeruns

Don’t worry, this team will hit the most HR’s since 2015 but strikeouts are going to go up.

Yes. Had surgery a couple of days ago.

Not what I was hoping to see after his unimpressive numbers over the summer. I know it’s the first scrimmage but we really need at least freshman Cabrera to have a shot this year

He was batting against Marceaux and Fontenot though. As much as we'd like to see it, pitching and hitting can't both be great in a single scrimmage.

Travinski was standing next to Garza and Travinski is bigger than Garza. The guy has plenty of power. Defensively, he was 0 for 2 throwing out base stealers and let a few balls in the dirt get passed him. He wasn't bad but Milazzo who was 2 for 2 throwing out base stealers was better defensively. DH might be the spot for Travinski for now.
Beloso looked as big as ever and matched Travinski power.
Arnold and Hughes are going to battle for starting SS.
Toups and Sanford looked good.
Mathis had a good hit, hustled and the Coach seems to like him from what I saw.
Mo Hampton was there, hanging with the team.
Dugas looks athletic for 1B and had a good hit.
Cranford had a good hit and was throwing but not throwing at full speed hit.
Gio had 2k's. Hopefully Eddie Smith can help him be more selective at the plate, the talent is there.

Hughes’ OBP is astronomical

Dude. It was 2 at bats. If Cabrera got a hit every two ABs his average would be .500. Think of it like that.

During these scrimmages players often play positions other than the one they normally play due to the shortage of position players to make up two complete teams.

So unimpressive that he was a top 5 prospect in the cape according to multiple publications. You fricking tool bag.
