The alleged incident happened two years ago. I tend to believe the accusation (primarily from the standpoint that MOST accusers are telling the truth) but not seeing that there would be enough evidence to convict beyond a reasonable doubt here, unless maybe others come forward. Proof that Mingo bought these kids a bunch of gifts doesn't amount to proof that he sexually assaulted one of them...

I wonder if the kid didn’t tell his friend (Mingo’s relative) about it when it happened. Otherwise, what other evidence would they have had to arrest him.
