I want Alabama to go through a QB graveyard like LSU’s 14-17

I don't think it's possible that we'll ever see another stretch that inept, even at Vanderbilt.

And Bama had a deep QB roster. They still have Milroe and Simpson and both have a lot of eligibility.

Absolutely not. The reason I say this, is because I would like for LSU to build a culture similar to UGA. They barely take any portal transfers now. They cultivate from HS, and it's paid dividends for them as a program.

By "build a culture", you mean build a roster loaded with 4 and 5 stars from top to bottom.

The only thing "paid", is large some of cash to get every kid they go after.

t it certainly looks like they did not have a plan for this. Or a shitty one.

What plan could they have put in place?

And Penix has a significant injury history.

It’s almost like they were caught completely off guard by his retiring. Makes you wonder if he didn’t give the administration a heads up. I find it hard to believe he’d to that though.

Either way the university had to have known this day would be coming soon, the man is over 70, and should’ve had a plan in place.

If you are to believe him in this interview, he said he made the decision 5 minutes before having a year end meeting with the team. So I'd say administration didn't have a heads up.

Deboer made Penix a lock 1st rounder. This doesn’t seem smart but I will take it

IF he's a first rounder, I rekin Penix made himself a first rounder. But now Da' Borer has a lump of clay to work with.

Do you know who his OC/QB coach was at Indiana?
He doesn’t. Help him out he is in for a big surprise.

Not one person thought Bamas roster wouldn’t hemorage players. It’s pretty normal especially when you lose a great like Saban.

Underwood chose us over the Bama’s of the world. Sayin can go to USC.

And his knees are going to keep him from actually being drafted in the first.

EVERY large organization should have a plan in case something happens to their leader. To not have a plan is foolish. Don’t ask me what the plan is. I am not a leader of that type of an organization.

in my opinion, they needed a transition where everybody kind of knew who the guy was going to be. Or at least people that were going to be there regardless. Assistants, analysts. It just feels like this came completely out of left field for everybody. Including all of the coaches.

That said, there was still gonna be a fallout. But we are talking about completely getting demolished. I think that only happens if you’re running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
