For those of you coming into town, see if parking passes are available. This stadium is right in the middle of downtown and parking is a complete nightmare. There's like 1 small parking lot and a garage a couple blocks away. It's definitely not what you're used to.
Also be prepared for one of the worst playing ball fields you'll ever see. Soft turf that kills the ball and the baselines are all turf as well. There's literally no dirt. Makes for some low scoring, small ball, games.

You used to be able to reserve parking tickets in that garage. Another option if you have a car is to street park further east near one of the bars like haymaker and hang out there and then Uber to the field

The baseball garage is no longer available for single game parking. You have to have a foundation season parking permit. Most people are forced to park on the streets back in the neighborhood or cemetery.

Are those parking garages on San Jacinto by Scholz Garten open to the public?

Guessing the secondary markets will remain around $100.
Jesus. I never paid that much for an MLB game.
UT needs to expand their stadium seating.

I was able to score parking passes for Friday and Saturday in the East Campus Garage adjacent to the stadium on seetgeek. It was $21 each day after fees

Yeah Texas has a gay arse full turf field. Looks and plays horrible and they top it off with a softball field style painted logo in center.

I really wish this game was being played at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. 11,000 seats and huge parking lots.

If you’re on 6th street at any point, go check out Casino el Camino. The vibe is certainly “Keep Austin Weird” - but the burgers, fries and drinks are on point.
We were just in town for meetings and also hit up Blind Pig - great Golden Tee setup upstairs!

Anyone know if a two year old requires a ticket? I think I read somewhere they don’t require one but I can’t find it now.

Taken from the online baseball fan guide on University of Texas website:
quote:I think if you carry the child in you should be fine regardless of whether they are under or 2 years old. We will be bringing a 9 month old on Saturday night and I didn't buy a ticket for her.
Children under the age of two do not require a ticket as long as the child is held and does not take up a seat.
