I'm a militant FANS (Football At Night Supporter) and will have to sit this one out and I don't want to.
The only day games I go to are the November ones after the time change, where it's dark in the 3rd quarter.
Night Games are engrained into the systems of long time LSU die-hards. Playing in the day is sacrilege. And, I don't like Night Games because it gives me more time to tailgate, party and get drunk. (I don't drink)
The atmosphere is not the same in the day. The team feeds off the emotional energy of the crowd and it's not there in the day. I don't expect all the youngsters and recent "Corporate Ticket Newbies" to understand this either.
Once, just once, I'd like to see LSU stand up to the SEC/CBS and tell them that that we're not moving the game.
Frick the TV contract. Fine us or whatever else you want to do, but we aint movin the game.
It would be awesome for the AD or the LSU Admins to do this, but old Snow Peas didn't earn that nick name for nothing and you know Sugar Snap Peas (FKA) could care even less. Dey aint doin Nuttin. Take that TV money and run.
Frick it. I'm PO'ed. Carry on...........

This 2:30 game is a load of shite. I hope whoever chose it goes to hell. Should be a night game. I don't know why they did this. Really rustles me.

Actually, that's incorrect... Had we not beaten FL, we wouldn't have been selected to be the 2:30 game... Remember 5 or 6 yrs ago when the Tigers could do no wrong, we were constantly being shifted to game slots earlier in the day... I even rember one particularly egregious 11am kickoff.. There were A LOT of ruffled feathers amongst the fanbase, but the company line from the administration was 'That's the price of success'... i hated it then, and i hate it now... That was the one bummer when we beat FL this pat wknd, i immediately knew that it meant we'd have an early game against Auburn... Terrible tradeoff IMO, but it's better than losing i guess.

I can’t think of a single thing Gary has said that I have taken personal. I think he’s terrible because he gets players names wrong, he’s often wrong about the rules, calls the wrong down and distance, is genuinely confused about something at least once per quarter. Brad Nessler is pretty good. But even he can’t mask the ineptitude of Gary,.
