Auburn should host ahead of LSU, but UF hosting is bullshite. But, the committee goes almost entirely on RPI, and the Gators had a better RPI and made the SEC Tournament Championship. Also, getting swept by Ole Miss hurt a lot.

Just don’t schedule anymore in state weeknight games. Apparently even if you play them and win, it only counts against you. The committee would prefer that you just cancel them.

We will be the road warriors. Not bad for a rebuilding year. Next year we will have better pitching, we will will hit and folks, we're invited to the dance we're just not hosting. All good.

So 30 game SEC season is meaningless??? Florida was .500 and Arkansas won 18 and we won 17 and took 2 out of 3 at Florida.

Nope. Auburn lost 2 out of 3 games in 3 of their last 4 SEC series and went 0-1 ofer in the SEC Tournament. The committee relied too heavily on RPI and I bet this mid-week game scheduling issue just becomes a bigger mess.

We got swept by Ole Miss 2 weeks ago at home. We also went 1-1 in the tournament against the 12th best SEC team. Also 2 of our top 3 players are currently injured.

Southern Piss got swept early on by Dallas Baptist then, in the last weekend of April and first weekend in May, lost series to UAB and Old Dominion. That's worse than losing to Old Piss??

My only consolation over this will be seeing them left out of the tourney altogether. If things hold, they were one of the last 4 out.
