Skip even mentioned it last night that CF was playing shallow when Milam was up.

I’m a Milazzo fan but he had an objectively tough night until the 9th.

If Pearson would have blooped it in front of the CF for the win, y'all would have said "why is that idiot playing so deep with Pearson up?"

2 outs bases loaded, makes no sense to play so shallow. I’ll take it but it was bad defensive positioning

The pass balls didn’t impact the final. One run scores regardless. The bunt squeeze call was on Jay. That pitch was terrible.

Thanks JML for the thread.
Thanks Cheer for the BPB.
Drizz and the other supportive fans....

Although I do appreciate being included here, I am not worthy to be included.

Thanks to Cheer and JML for real always.

But I get the intent. Thanks from me to the fans that are here - thick and thin.

I'm not sure how to say this, but game threads really give you a perspective.

I just want to win baws and bawettes and appreciate the same.

I’d have to see it again. Live I thought it was on the black at worse.

The CF wasn’t playing that shallow. Was it more shallow than if Tanks was batting, yes. But Pearson hit a line drive to the warning track. The ball wasn’t in the air that long.

Also that CF was flying. He’s very quick and didn’t get within 10 yards of that ball.

So now LSU is half a game ahead of Ole Miss, a game and a half ahead of Mizzou, and 5 full games ahead of Auburn. Every win puts them that much closer to clinching an SEC Tournament appearance. A sweep tomorrow would be a nice addition.

Also, they are 1.5 games behind Alabama and Florida. 2 behind Georgia. LSU has 10 SEC games left.

Edited to correct games behind

Indeed. Felt a little bit of the old magic tonight. Let's see if we can keep it rolling. Haven't lost since the Cory head doink. Are we ridin'?

Maybe dumb question, but what’s going on with Ulloa? Did he get rocked or injured that I’m unaware of?

Yep. Baseball scoring can be really unfair, but that’s how they do it. Hurd was the pitcher of record when we took the lead so he gets the W.

My guess is he has struggled lately although he threw an inning against UNO to close out the game & didn’t give up a hit
