trouble is brewing if the pitching rotation is being changed and the batting order is being changed... yes or no?

It's not ideal, obviously.

I'm sure PM would rather have everything already ironed out at this point.

at this point of the season....we have what we have. The talent will take us as far as it can. The pitching is really good (not amazing), the hitting is weak.

If the arms strike gold at the right time, we go to Omaha. If the arms let us down, the bats will not pick up the slack and we don't go to Omaha. Pretty simple

I hope it comes together for a great run!

Ok, let's review your choices for this DH spot...

Dozar
Slaid
Didier
Edward
Eades???
Powell
Yocum
Foster

Yeah I'm ok with Dozar.

Id go with Edward over Dozar, obviously thought pitching matchups will be in play. Wouldnt mind seeing Slaid either.

hit tying homerun and game winning single against ole miss in that 4-3 marathon a couple weeks back

he might not be great against lefties, but when you get into postseason you need guys that can hit in the clutch, because the entire postseason is clutch

The more I think about the lineup the more I confuse myself. We have 3 guys that should be hitting 3rd and 0 that can lead off. If Katz stays 3rd and Rhymes 4, then I think you need Nola in the 5 hole. He has been consistently clutch and will keep pitchers honest with Rhymes. If PM switches Katz and Rhymes then you can maybe put Nola leadoff. Other than that draw straws before the game.....

Our catcher is out prolly until the end of the SEC Tournament. His replacement can't throw out my grandmother....Yes. I'd say we're in trouble without even thinking about pitching rotation.

in this era of college baseball, most teams have the same issues.

Modified bats have hurt everyone, but the scholarship restrictions have made the biggest impact. Hard to have 9 quality hitters and a deep pitching staff

This. Why do you think LSU recruits schools like Catholic of Baton Rouge so hard? Those kids don't need full rides to attend LSU. PM said if he could change one thing about NCAA BB he would add scholarships. If football gets 85 then baseball should get more than 11 and some change....
