Seriously, is she a solid hire considering?

I think the overwhelming opinion of this board will be that it is a bullshite job in general, but if there has to be a bullshite job such as this, Ashleigh is probably an outstanding hire and she will do well with it.

LSU does not recruit enough minorities.

Y’all think Rheagan Courville, Ashley Gnat, and Carley Hoover were considered for the position?

Considering how ridiculous the position is, she’s probably who you want in the spot. Well liked for sure and great person.

I've been on the edge of my seat all week waiting to hear about the inclusion director. Is she more of a CEO or does she have an expertise on either side of the ball?

A wonderful position for LSU to create in the midst of a massive financial crisis.

I’m sure all of the AD employees that were laid off or given reduced salaries are stoked about it.

Congrats to her for landing a nice salary for a completely useless and unnecessary job.

Is there really a big concern about a "lack of diversity" in the athletic dept? Does this mean the football team will get a few more white guys on defense? Or the basketball team will get a big, goofy, white center now. Because last I checked, BOTH the football and basketball teams, along with MANY other teams at LSU are pretty diverse.

LSU has numerous black people working in the administration and on the coaching staffs. Over the last 15 years or so they haven't had any reluctance whatsoever in hiring black coaches. But I guess if LSU is determined to keep running with the narrative that "underrepresented" persons STILL need more unmeritorious help then you have to have someone to lead the way.

I was thinking the same thing. There can’t be any actual work that goes into this.
