It doesn't take terribly long, especially in 2025.
Pack your shite, or in BK's case, hire someone to pack your shite, get in your car and go.
If you're doing everything DIY, it takes like max 4-6 days to move. If you can hire someone and have access to a private jet, it takes a couple hours.

Yeah, almost 4 years. Hopefully the next coach falls in love with LSU and the Louisiana culture. I do think that helps.
I am not saying anyone needs to be from the South. I am saying it's awesome when coaches really embrace the people and state.
