It’s the calendar that dictates why coaches leave early. If you don’t like it, then change the calendar. They are acting like these players are so passionate about the school when we all know most of this team is gonna leave next year for more NIL money. There are very few players on a team that play for passion for the university.

If he stays at OM, it would be an emotional decision. I wonder if that changes his stock price in the future though? Would schools be leary of him given how this is playing out?

I mean, just because some guy whispers “he’s not coming” doesn’t make it gospel. People lie like it’s their cardio—sometimes for drama, sometimes for a nap. They’re probably just buying time to pick the perfect font for the press release. I don’t know what’s real, what’s fake, or what’s just spicy fan fiction, so I treat every rumor like expired yogurt: sniff, shrug, and wait for the official seal.

I don’t know if this is true or not, but to all those saying Verge said Saban is not coming, you need to go back and remember all of the times every coach said they weren’t doing something only to then turn around and do it. For example Saban saying he wasn’t leaving LSU and then ending up going to the NFL. They all miss direct to buy time before big announcements.

3. **Mike Leach (resurrected)** – We dig him up, Weekend at Bernie’s style, and let him Air Raid the SEC into oblivion. Opposing DCs will need therapy.
4. **Ed Orgeron (again)** – Just hear the roar: “GO TIGAS, CHER!” We win the Natty out of pure nostalgia and beignets.

I was there w/ 2 others. I agree w/ other posters...seemed like tailgating was all LSU. I was shocked when we walked into the dome to see so much blue. Appeared to me to be even.
