The difference between how the Alabama football program and the LSU Bengal Tigers program prepare to face each other is illuminating.

This week in Baton Rouge is full-on preparation to take on Alabama football. The AP Poll’s No. 1 team is not only focusing on its next opponent, it is doing so loudly. Brash talk never won anything. Instead, it is often a sign, not of confidence, but of apprehension.

Bama and its supporters really have no reason to fear this matchup because they've won so many in a row and will probably be alive for a championship anyway.

All the pressure is on the Tigers. Will they play tight? Will we coach in such a way that we don't ever seem to even get off the ground/Express ourselves, as we seem to have done in recent years?

I don't know. Eventually an LSU team will come along that will be able to rise above all of this and just play their game. I hope this is that team.

Joe certainly seems to be the leader we need.

If bama can lose to LSU and still get in the playoff, with their 2019 resume of playing nobody, then LSU should be able to get right back in it too.

LSU took the day off too.

Much ado about nothing.

Well our program’s “family” feel was taken from what Dabo did at Clemson, and that was an arse kicking of a lifetime.

1) The team is off until Thursday.

2) If that dude thinks that Bama's staff isn't watching LSU tape morning, noon and night he's loony.

Some obscure Tide website? They're rather ruffled that a fellow conference member has jumped them in the polls. That is not business as usual.

Regardless, what a lame site. Don't let those goobers bother you.

I think this writer is confusing the LSU football team with the fans and posters on this site.

Until we actually score and then beat them nothing matters. Having said that, this team feels different than in the past. If we execute, I think we have a great chance this year to exorcise the demons.

Does this guy not think that Bama not doing what they are doing in preparation of LSU? The bye week gives you a chance to work on self scouting and learning your own tendencies to, you know, gameplan for your next opponent.

Also talking about preparing for your next opponent is not “brash” talk. If O or the team came out and said we are going to destroy them next Saturday that would be brash talk.

That's a lot of extrapolation from a single barely sort of cocky type quote from one LSU wide receiver.

Bama players were talking about how they play paper rock scissors to see who runs routes. That’s business?

Man that is a stretch of an article, but I must admit, we do have more fun in life than they do. They are miserable people when it comes to football.
