I'm an LSU fan and live in East Tennessee. When LSU is not playing I root for other SEC teams. No matter who I like the Refs somehow know it and always give the calls to the other team.

Actually if you record the games you will discover the questionable calls even out over the game.

Like Bertman said, "When you strike out on a bad call by the Ump, what were your excuses on the other two strikes".

Interesting, because my mom was texting me during the game bitching about the announcers and umpires being pro-Arkansas. Guess that means everyone was being fair

LSU's radio announcers (Blair, Thompson, and Poleirmo?) were talking about how liberal the UMP was with his strike zone, at times. But also that he was somewhat inconsistent, as well. They didn't necessarily say that it favored either team. But it was brought up several times when LSU was at bat. Based on all these comments, it seems to reason that both teams pitchers got the benefit on some calls.

Fans who complain about calls in any sports are clueless.

So we are not allowed to have an opinion about an umpire's strike zone?

I've officiated at levels from U-8 to college and I made plenty of mistakes.

The only game I have ever seen where it was an obvious fix, football LSU @ Auburn 06. Watch that game and tell me that those calls were just missed or mistakes.

They were much more gay for LSU in the USCe game, IMO.

I'm always gay for LSU, so I'm not complaining.

AUburn in 2006 was a scandal.
Surprised there was not an investigation or repercussions of some kind.
As best I know , the conference never commented on it.

If a pitch is close enough to be called a strike, it's close enough to try to hit. When you don't try, you put your AB in the hands of another and when you do, you get what you get and that's on you.

Is there anything more hilarious than Bacon nation's insistence on calling their team the Omahogs?

Should we revise the O.M.A.H.A acronymn to Oh My Arkansas Home Again? At least through the end of this season?

Note: AFTER we win the Super just to be safe?

Wow. So they sold the radio and purchased a television. That's a big step for them. Now they can watch reruns of Deliverance. I just hear that banjo playing right now.

Should have dog piled after their runner-up finish in the SEC tourney.

I couldnt laugh harder at a program run by an absolute trashbag like Van Horn

THAT, my friends, is how rivalries are made! Not by special names or 200 lb. gilded footwear. We don't like them, they don't like us.

Lol, they now consider Missouri State more of a rival than LSU. How sad.

Ok LSU strike zone, inside batters box line to inside batters box line, top of the letters to top of the ankles. Oh and you can stop the bat anywhere

And AGAIN the Lsu guys show up the umps with no repercussions

So......if the LSU batters were getting all the calls, why would they be "showing up the umps" and complaining about the calls????
