I actually thought this as well. I wonder if he would admit it though.
I have rewatched the play and it was such an easy DP and he didn't have any issues fielding it at all. It seemed like he had his mind made up he was going to third to get the lead runner.

This was one the most intense and thoroughly enjoyable games I've ever watched! I'm so proud of this team and CJJ! Now go take down the chandeliers or whatever.

I like the confidence. They are making hay about that sweep of Auburn as some type of test. I do not think CC has seen this type of pitching yet this year. But, I do not think CC can throw anyone that is better than what LSU faced in the SEC. That said, LSU better bring the A game or CC will beat them.
