I’m thinking Shores is only going to be used for 3-4 outs. Which is why I figured Noot would finish this inning until trouble….my nerves are sky high

Not has been throwing wild pitches left and right. I think that is the reason for the call to bring in Shores.
I wish he gave Noot one more batter, but I get why he is making the call.

Interesting decision. I would have left Noot in there - maybe they’re escalating in terms of velocity (Cowan -> Noot -> Shores -> somehow, Paul Skenes). Maybe the thought is Noot as a contingent starter for next game.

Both pitchers have absolutely done their jobs thus far. Let's hope Shores is on his game today again and can also do some work here.

Shores isn't really a low ball pitcher that could take advantage of this zone. I would've let Noot go a bit longer and then straight to Eyanson but I also have learned that Jay thinks of everything and is usually right
