I mean lets face it, outside the guys in the infield, Crews and Dugas, and Utility wizard Bianco, no one else could have thought they were safe.

I don't agree with moving Tre Morgan from 1st. I'd like to see a professional scouting report that says he can't play 1st base in the Bigs. He's a big kid and can easily develop into a 30 HR player. His defense is stellar. Why screw with that? The new player should be looking for a spot in the outfield or to DH and spot play where needed.

Johnson needs to be careful if he's going to bring all these kids with him. Team chemistry is critical to any championship run.

I agree with this, but these kids are pretty used to cut throat travel ball and they definitely want to win too. They'll get over it quickly as long as it is done with some semblance of class and respect.

I'm going to hold back my excitement until he officially says he is going to transfer to LSU.

Or try at least.

Bringing in better players will only help team chemistry. Great players want to play with other great players. Guys like Morgan and Crews will love playing in a game and not having to see multiple guys walk up to the plate that are basically automatic outs.

For players going to a 4-year school, you either have to be 21, or be 3 years removed from high school in order to be draft eligible. I don't know how old he is, it would depend on that.

He is slightly smaller than the average MLB player. While I agree that he has been an excellent 1st baseman, and could play first base in the pros. I very much see him in a Cody Bellinger type role. IMO.

Also baseball because of scholarship limits is a very “it’s just business” sport.

Seriously can we get a check-in from Pirate King? I need to know why this would be a bad thing.

I think he would be eligible for the 2022 draft.
