Moller likely won’t make it to campus. I bet he goes pro wherever he is drafted.

If we can pull Boissiere here that would be huge! Berry might play 2nd base and Bossiere can play either 1st or OF. You need to play Merriman the JC guy he was a great 2nd baseman but can also play OF. Lots of great options and all hit over 350, insane!
Now just get 2 quality pitchers through the portal and keep a couple of our pitchers already on this team and it's about to get real!

LSU might be Forced to move Morgan to the OF to get another big bat in this lineup with Jobert from Delgado JC, he batted over 350 and can also play 1st base and has a good glove. Hard to think Belso would be on this team only because he won't be able to beat out anyone as a position player and he can't hit.

Yes. He would play next year then likely be drafted pretty early in the 2022 MLB Draft.

Jobert can play 3B and RF, too.
We have a lot of options. Johnson seems like he'll do his due diligence to configure things optimally.
I hope Milazzo improves and/or one of Moller/Jensen make it to campus but you have to think Johnson is looking around at catchers.
Arms are also a necessity. I hope we get some vets back, I like our young arms and the ones coming in, but Johnson needs to find at least 1 top end guy to plug and play.

Johnson was on OTB this morning and he made it seem like his 18 hour days in the office were almost exclusively focused on the roster since he's been here. Said he was finally going to put a little more time into coaching hires today.

Isn't there a July 1 deadline of some kind? Should we expect a Berry announcement today or tomorrow?

The deadline is just to be in the portal, but that may not end up being the deadline for baseball anyway.
