How about one is on the team and did not quit, the other is not on the team. I’d say it’s not even open for debate, that’s Moore’s number plain and simple

You don’t have to cancel him but you can wish him luck while sending him down the road. Once a quitter always a quitter.

How about one could have ruined some lives, and the other can only ruin his own. I really don't give a fukk who wears the number

I would want a new number if I were in his shoes and wanted a second chance to get it right.

I like second chances, especially for young people.

You are crazy!
Why would you want the #1 player at his position to move on? He was a homesick, confused kid, away from home for the first time in the most screwed up sports year in the history of football. He didn't crap on us and don't believe that story of "his body was hurting" as the reason he drug up.
Love to have him back.

I had forgotten that part. I just looked up the interview and put his name. I didn't trash him tho.

It's going to be hilarious when he goes to Auburn or Ole Miss and the love fest on here does another 180.

I don't get why we would want him?

I don't have hard feelings but he should transfer.

There is no way he is academically eligible anyway

He's one of the biggest freaks to ever play the TE position in the history of the sport. That is not hyperbole.

That is why we want him.

If his teammates welcome him back, why wouldn't the fans be able to? Kid is insanely gifted.

Isn't though?

Is he cut out for that role on our team?

Great pass catcher can he fulfill other requirements?

If players want him back fine. I am not worried if he returns. It is a luxury. Not a game winning position

Asinine for several reasons.

1. He didn't line up tight like a normal TE. He lines up all over the field as a weapon. He can run like a WR with a TE body.

2. Even if he were a TE, elite TEs are absolutely a game-winning position. Rob Gronkowski? shite, Jimmy Graham was unguardable as a Saint.

Gilbert demands massive attention from a defense. That is a giant advantage in itself.
