The evidence is circumstantial. The administration is scared. It's that simple. Of course he has fault, but he has not been indicted in anything and there is no open NCAA investigation. The only place he is currently guilty is the court of public opinion.

Finally, someone with balls to challenge the status quo majority opinion! Well done!

Really he's guilty of nothing. Nor is he likely to be guilty of anything in the future. But guilt has absolutely nothing to do with his predicament. His unwillingness to answer questions from his employer is his problem.

Man the admin alters working overtime! Hell even my sister who’s final words to me “ I don’t support the crooked coach” now is all in for tickets (she lives in dc) too bad I have to pick them up in person.

All praise WW. The coach that was here less than two years and will leave us on probation. A true American hero. Hang a banner.

Why even start this thread?

Why hasn't Alleva gone to Wade's house, knocked on his door, and said "let's iron this out just you and me, no ncaa, no King, no BOS." Why does Wade have to be interviewed in the presence of all those others?

Because the first incident that required wade to explain, wasnt enough. He obviously didnt tell them of this. That triggered LSU taking protective measures.

I think Alleva is the very worst AD in all of P5 athletics, with that being said Alleva has to protect the program above WW. The program is always more valuable than the coach. WW is guilty, you can’t deny that he’s not. You protect the program above all else. LSU is in a position to hire a big time coach if WW gets a show cause.

Anybody that supports this administration should be banned from all LSU athletics. They are the biggest cluster fricks in the whole country

I started a similar thread and was toast.

At the end of the day, Alleva has really made this situation much worse than it needs to be.

But Wade fricked up talking on the phone. Period. Avoid that and we aren’t in any of this mess. You can still personally handle the payment of players. You just need to shut the frick up aboit it.

This.

This administration kowtows to public pressure like none other. Alleva did at Duke with the lacrosse team, did it with Miles, now he's doing it here. He is ill-suited for the job he holds. He is a weak, weak person.

This is what people don’t get.

People aren’t giving WW a free pass. We acknowledge he did wrong. However with the FBI investigating the entire sport, he did what he had to do to level the playing field.

People are a little upset about WW. However people are absolutely furious about the way it is being handled by the administration.

There are multiple schools in the same position as us and none of them suspended their coach. Amplify that with it’s the first time we have been relevant in 20-30 years?

Not to mention if WE is on the sidelines we could be a dark horse to win this thing.

Its not a court of law, in most professional employment settings just the appearance, or suspicion of wrong doing will get you fired, or at least temporarily relived from your job, especially if it involves a regulatory agency of some kind.

Not sure that’s exactly accurate. Most jobs still have pretty good evidence for wrongdoing before they fire or suspend an employee. Generally it’s caught directly on camera.

Here’s a scenario for you.

Employee on camera appears to take money from cash register and pockets the money. However, the registerdoes not come up short in any way.

Is the employee fired?

The answer is : probably not.

Same scenario except the register does come up short.

Is the employee fired?

The answer is: Probably

That’s the difference here. In the WW case, the register isn’t coming up short because they have no proof of the money being paid.

Dude, that doesn't even happen in the Navy (Your ?? Alma Mater ?? Employer). As an employer, let me assure you, denial of due process is a huge no-no.
