I'm not sure, but this entire board wanted Denbrock fired his first year.

I want to understand how delusional our fans can truly be.

1. He was demoted at LA Tech

This isn't true.

3. We are 8-3 to 9-1 with a competent OC

We have no way of even knowing this.

I'll say this: If there is only so much money to be spent and the choice is pay Sloan's Buy Out and the Buy out of whoever we hire OR buy players. I want to buy players.

I think the lack of portal moves last year had a decent amount to do with the money we had being spent on the defensive coaches as opposed to players. I agree that it was necessary last year but this year we need players.

You have absolutely no way to accurately judge his performance.

Not much of an answer. His resume' is quite good. I guess the lack of 2 1st round draft receivers like on last years team is meaningless to you.

I believe the bigger issue is if Sloan is not retained, you’re on your third OC in four years.

If he’s going to be the CEO type, BK needs to nail these coaching hires.

EdO was held accountable, why can’t BK?

This year was a massive failure with PC and creativity. Not Les Miles levels but getting there.

But to answer your question, Sloan is gone.

This place is going to melt so hard when Sloan is retained.

I agree even though Sloan hasn't been great. I would much rather spend money on getting some dudes who can play next year and be a factor for us immediately.

Hope is also that Sloan will take a leap as a play-caller in his second year here.

I also think that Sloan is average as a play caller. Meaning if you got him great players and he could balance a run game with his passing attack that we could be good enough on Offense. Especially if we take a step forward on defense too.

No, I think people just realize there are bigger issues than OC. He should never have been promoted to OC but that is not the biggest issue with LSU this year.

I never see any outside runs, jet sweeps, anything to keep the defense on their heels. I believe the pass game is very good although they do tend to try too many go patterns and jump balls down the sidelines. The game plan against Ark was the best of the year when they threw quick passes and marched down the field 5-8 yds at a time.

This post is a RPO. Retarded pussy opinion.

I don't believe anyone here is anything close to being qualified enough to make this statement.

I think Sloan is a great part of the offense, but not as a playcaller. Promoting him may have been the only way to keep him from following Denbrock to Notre Dame, but it has obviously not worked out with him as a playcaller yet. I'd be in favor of a change, but I also think there's value in keeping a QB-OC relationship for more than 1 year. I don't think Sloan is even close to as bad as it would seem to someone that only follows LSU on this message board. He's at worst a good offensive mind to have in the room, and many still give credit to him for Jayden's development.

Why do you think that Sloan can't call plays. I hate to be the one to tell you, but it ain't rocket science

This fanbase would have their mind blown if they had a 15 second conversation regarding playcalling with an actual offensive coordinator. This isn't Madden.
