Have you been living under a rock? This was a story 2 weeks ago. He already signed with UCLA for a paycut and his brother followed him. It was clearly always the plan to get back home.
If that was the case he could have simply transferred.
He just didn't find that he was worth as much as he thought he was.

A stronger kicking leg doesn't mean accuracy is equal or better

True, but a coordinator should be able to call plays that lean on our strengths and mask our weakness. We had enough talent...
What makes you think he didn't?

I’m not an X’s and O’s guy when it comes to football but I do know we couldn’t get in the end zone when we were in the red zone.
No first rd. receivers, guard to guard weren't good at blocking their man. Poor execution can't be over come by an offensive co-ordinater

"Sloan got his first coaching job at South Florida where he was hired as an offensive quality control coach before in 2012 he became a graduate assistant for South Florida for one season.[2] In 2013, Sloan was hired by Louisiana Tech to coach the team's receivers.[3] In 2014, Sloan would be promoted to also be the team's recruiting coordinator.[4] In 2015, Louisiana Tech promoted Sloan to be their assistant head coach.[5] In 2020, Sloan was promoted by Louisiana Tech to be the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.[6][7] After two seasons as the Bulldogs offensive coordinator, Sloan was hired by LSU to coach the team's quarterbacks.[8][9] On January 23, 2024, Sloan was promoted to be LSU's offensive coordinator."[10][11

Definitely Nuss is the better QB

Just funny how he didn’t get a single carry in the last several games. What does the coaching staff see and have a problem with with!
If you watched you would have noticed that he doesn't see the hole

2nd only to Joe Burrow and the rant wants him benched.
This f'ing place.....
Joe Burrow had Jefferson and Chase bothe drafted in 1st rd. Jaden Daniel's had Neibhors and Thomas both drafted in the 1st round.
Nuss doesn't have a receiver that'll be drafted in the first round

The problem is that we have the wrong personnel in at critical short yardage downs even when coming out of a timeout

JB and JD both had 2 first round draft picks they threw to. Nuss doesn't have the same quality of receivers.
Nus first year stats exceed the first year stats of both JB and JD

JB & JD both had 2 first round receivers, Nuss doesn't have a first round draft reciever, yet he is on pace to have one of the top 3 passing yardage.
Nuss will be even better next year.

Sloan was not "let go" from LA. Tech. You people are idiots to say something that is blatantly untrue

The main issue I see with the offense is the zone read RPO. Every DC knows Nuss is not going to run so why do the RPO? All that happens is the RB runs up the middle into a packed D line. I never see any outside runs, jet sweeps, anything to keep the defense on their heels. I believe the pass game is very good although they do tend to try too many go patterns and jump balls down the sidelines. The game plan against Ark was the best of the year when they threw quick passes and marched down the field 5-8 yds at a time.
You just showed your ignorance, you have no idea what a RPO offense is.
