Are any of these coaches realistic possibilities for LSU baseball?

Dan McDonnell, Louisville
Tim Tadlock, Texas Tech
Erik Bakich, Michigan
Mike Bianco, Mississippi

Would you be interested in any of them?

The first one is realistic IMO and i would be happy with him. Not sure any of the others would come or would be a good fit

The guy from Michigan wouldn't be bad but Mainieri isn't going anywhere mid season. I get the frustration but he's not going to be canned mid season.

Tadlock and McDonnell are both excellent.

Matt Riser should be on that list. .

Bianco doesn’t belong on that list.

Really, neither does Bakich. Michigan had one good year. He’s made a regional two other years and that’s it.

Tadlock and McDonnell are the only two worth looking at IMO, and Tadlock is at his alma mater, so it would be a tough pull.

Bakich isn’t one I would want. Everyone seems to be on him because of his run in the CWS. Everything else is so-so. And hell no to Riser

Not a problem for me. I got no beef with LSU typically. Least adversarial SEC school to Tennessee in general. Just don’t take our baseball coach. First good one we’ve had in 15 years.

There is a heckuva argument that we don't presently have a coach.

He seems to be doing good things at Ole Miss. Try to separate your feelings of bad juju with his son.

He’s made it out of a regional twice since 2009.

Are you a clown? You want Bianco?

He’s been in Oxford 20+ years with only 1 Omaha appearance.

With the current shite show of an athletics dept at LSU right now?
Hell no

If PM decides to retire I’d expect something like Matt Riser with a 6 year 12 million dollar contract, that’s how much faith I have in Woodward to get this right

Based on what exactly? His shitty record? Shaka Smart had Texas basketball ranked #6 in the nation earlier this year yet could never lead them to a win in the NCAA tourney.

Thanks but I’m good

I want a guy with the following:
1. Good track record
2. Has energy
3. Not effeminate
4. Actually continues to coach kids
5. Has an attitude (not a whiny bitch)
6. Adds more chairs instead of bleachers
7. Makes Woodward a little intimidated when he walks into a room.
8. Avoids his gut and sticks with baseball
9. Influences what is sold at the concession stands
10. Doesn’t bang students
