Archie is a well known hater and FAKE LOUISIANAMAL! The manning name used to truly mean something but to me and my family it is GARBAGE! Instead of proping LSU up, there homestate school! They try and tear us down for no darn good reason!

Why do you criticize someone that played at Ole Miss and sons did not go to LSU? Why would they choose LSU? Archie was from Mississippi and played for Mississippi. If you were.him would you want them to go to LSU? I would say it worked out great for them going to Ole Miss and Tennessee. Get over it,

Yeah you might to check history before saying shite. That beatdown most definitely happened 61-17. But Capone never broke Archie's arm. He broke his arm earlier before the LSU game and played against us wearing a cast.
Being a Saints fan I grew up a Archie fan. It is no secret that he hates LSU. He has told a story of crying himself to sleep as a young kid the night Billy Cannon run the punt back on Halloween. Why people would get so but hurt about him not sending his kids to LSU is beyond me. As far as his comments about Kiffin. Who cares, he wasn't complaining about Lane until he left for their most hated rival. He is just a but hurt old man, who knows football and knows what is about to happen with their program and ours. He knows Kiffin is a good coach that is why he is pissed.

As I have gotten older, I have learned the “legend” of Archie Manning was fiction.
Ole Miss has done a masterful job creating the illusion that Archie was some all time great. The fact of the matter is:
HE NEVER WON ANYTHING OF SIGNIFICANCE.
-Never won the SEC
-Didn’t win a Heisman
-Certainly never won a NC
Amazing job by the runts to create an aura around this guy.

If you had gotten the crap beat out of you like Ole Miss in 1970, you’d hate LSU too. 61-17 was Archie’s last memory of playing against LSU at night in Tiger stadium. It was a massive beat down climaxed by Archie being sacked in his own end zone by Ronnie Estay.

Archie was 2-1 vs LSU. Ole Miss' win in 1969 over LSU kept us out of a major bowl and shot at a national title.
