Aranda does a good job most of the time, last night he did a poor job with play calling. It’s okay if Coach O throws him a little constructive criticism .... aranda earned some last night.

O needs to be 100% focused on our offense. Aranda is not without blame, but he better not hear a word until O cleans house on offense.

Nobody is perfect but Aranda is by far the best coach on this staff. His adjustments in 2 or 3 games - especially Georgia - are the main reason the record is 9-3 instead of 7-5.

It’s not easy to make a stop when you are pinned inside your own 25. Aranda is one of if not the best defensive coordinators in college football.

Coaches that are inferior do not get to give constructive criticism.

His adjustments in the 2nd half last night were going great until giles dropped the punt.

I still don't understand Aranda sticking with man coverage during OT. But, O needs to STFU and focus on fixing the offense. LSU is 9-3 bc of defense.

Yeah. Two things stood out for me. The OLine early in the game and the defense in the OTs.

I thought for sure our defense would force some field goals. It was a head scratcher.

Two mistakes last night:
1. Leaving the booth before the game was officially over.
2. Never stopped them from passing over the middle.

Fulton being out was 90% of the problem with the defense last night.

You’re kidding right? We were down several key players the whole game and once you get into overtime, everyone’s defense is going to be completely exhausted.

Doesn't Aranda always coach from the sideline?

i hope im wrong but the way he coached last night looked like a guy who was out of here and not fully invested in winning like he was mailing it in for his last game

yes he had 7 starters out of the game but you still HAVE TO blitz in that many OT because they are just as tired and cant stop you. the fact he chose to do nothing to pressure A&M in any of the OT was glaring DGAF about winning the game

I don't understand how Aranda escapes criticism. Teams score big on us.

i'll ask you the same, You’re kidding right?

once you get into overtime, everyone’s defense is going to be completely exhausted. but so is their offense and a sack or turnover ends the game.

if we blitz they cant stop it but instead monds regularly had 6-7 seconds to wait for a receiver to come open. no team, none, can cover for that long and yet you are trying to say it was a good idea to do this with a completely gassed secondary in OT

I’d love to see you guys call a defense with tired players in a 5 hour game. He did a damn good job before OT and before the Giles muffed punt. Monds stats were dogshit before OT.

Both defenses were gassed out and were giving up TDs.
