So football will go overall the same way as boxing....pay per view. Because there is no way that the streaming services are going to just give this to their subscribers as part of the regular or even an extended package
Amazon Prime and Hulu are already doing this. Yes they will.

They could start a cleansing by showing Steve Shaw and Ritter the door!! They have both shown bias so many times in the past, nothing can ever be seen as unbiased with those two in their present roles!
I'm sure their are others, but those two must go to ever have a level playing field. I just wish some of these other schools that complain would join LSU in action.

Nah. Pay per view all but killed the market for casual boxing fans. That's the bread and butter of college and pro football.

Amazon Prime is only offering Thursday night NFL games , right?

Who gives a shite. The fact that they are mad pretty much proves the point. Keep it up

The SEC is having their junkie getting a glimpse of themselves in a mirror breaking into their kids piggie bank moment.

Currently. Hulu showed all the NBA playoffs last season I believe. These contracts are going to continue to grow and everything will be streamed eventually.

Maybe, Bama gets called for an actual holding penalty on one of THEIR 3rd DOWN PLAYS...
Or maybe they actually get called for a block in the back on their return team
Or maybe, Saturday night in Death Valley, maybe they get called for a late hit or targeting.
Maybe?
I don’t know but this was the PERFECT time for all of this discussion to happen. It will defnitely be in the back of the refs’ minds during the game. I’d be somewhat surprised if we get many bad calls/no-calls against us this week, whereas I would have expected it without this scrutiny.

Gus Johnson
Took me awhile to get used to him. Now I like his calls.

I was thinking along the same lines. The commercial revenue is what makes the whole thing attractive to the leagues.

It is possible to watch college football on Hulu too. If you get their live TV package they have a section devoted just to college football. Pretty similar to Sling or PSVue.
I used to have Sling and I really enjoyed it, but now my new place has cable included for free so I no longer need Sling.

You really have to look no further than that bridge schedule the SEC instituted, I believe in 2013, which replaced a Bama game at Georgia with a LSU game at Ga. that came after Georgia and Bama played in the 2012 SEC championship game and Georgia had given Bama all they wanted.
Bama, who was to play Georgia on the road, gets to play Kentucky on the road and LSU who was to play Kentucky on the road gets to play George on the road. If that doesn’t stink from the head down, nothing every did.
This still sticks in my craw. Georgia had come within one play of beating Bama in the 2012 SEC championship game, and the rematch would have been at Georgia in 2013. I guess the Gumps were a little worried about their chances of winning that game.

People hate CBS, ESPN, ABC
What fricking network do y’all want the games on? Fox?
People dislike them all for different reasons. CBS's complaint is that the games are artificially extended by longer and more frequent commercial breaks than a game on any other network.

Unfortunately if fox gets that game Brando will suck uber dicks to get the call.

I’d love for Gus Johnson to call all LSU games
I’d rather listen to Verne than Gus Johnson lose his mind over a 5 yard completion.

Who at the “SEC” is furious with CBS? I would bet there are several SEC member schools who agree with that assessment. The fact that someone at the SEC is “furious” reflects and proves the bias that exists.
