Back to back top 10 wins, plus a 3rd if they can beat UGA int he SECCG. It's a solid resume that no one in the other P5 conferences can boast about if I'm not mistaken.

Two loss LSU vs one loss UGA, Tennessee and Michigan. I just don't see it.

There is zero percent change the SEC champ is ever getting left out of a 4 team CFP, with the wild exception that every SEC team had 2 losses

Downvote the hell out of this, b/c I don’t like it….

But a previous committee has set precedent for leaving out a 2 loss Conference Champ in favor of a different 1 loss team from that conference.

Penn St beat OSU, won the Big 10, and got left out, and OSU got in. Can’t remember the year though.

I'd wager that Penn State's resume that year wouldn't come close to LSU's if we win out.

During this CFP system?

My worry is that they could leave a 2-loss LSU SEC champ out with the knowledge that the playoff system is already scheduled to correct such an issue in upcoming years.

IF LSU wins the SEC and UT gets left out, would we need to put the entire Vol Nation on suicide watch?

If LSU wins the SEC with 2 losses, they are in. Denying the SEC Champ who has gone through Ole Miss, Bama and defending champ UGA in Atlanta would be pure stupidity because LSU would be the hottest team in the nation if they could pull that off.

Not saying LSU will win out, but if they do, they'd be in. Losing to FSU in week 1 by a missed extra point with FSU having already played a game means little to the voters at this point (as our playoff ranking showed with the release of the first rankings).

As SEC champs, yeah we’d be in. They would forget the close loss to FSU being it was the first game and FSU had a gane the week before.

I can especially after you just got done beating that UGA team who convincingly beat that UT team. This team is vastly improved from the team that played UT. If we win out and take the SEC we won’t be left out.

One loss GA would be a hard to head loss. This is the playoffs, not the BCS of old.

Tennessee with one loss has a better argument than GA because of the TN game head to head but TN isn’t winning the SEC or even playing in the championship.

MI is in a shite conference with a shite schedule.

Pretty easy arguments.

The only thing that helps LSU in this quest is that we will have to play the #1 team if we get to the SECCG.

Meanwhile Clemson lost bad and now they are out. That will really scramble the eggs at the Committee mtg...

One fatal flaw in your argument--it's the Big Ten, and Penn State had two wins over teams ranked in the final CFP rankings. One of those was over Wisconsin in the BIGCG, and was Wisky's 3rd loss.

LSU would end up beating presumably undefeated UGA. Big difference there.

Don’t be sucked in by the complements from the sports media. They are the same malcontents as before. Keep it in perspective for when they turn on us. And they will. It’s in their DNA.

OSU and Michigan still have to play so one of them will take an L late in the season.
