the game we lost in 06 is prolly one that sits with me the most. The pass interference calls they had.

Honorable mention: The game, where there was the long pass down the middle, and I think we hit the receiver and dislodged the ball, but they called a personal file or interference play, even though the ball had been touched on the way to him

They called pass interference in the endzone against Auburn (and they did mug the hell out of Buster Davis) but the ref waived it off because the safety way behind the play and clearly after the penalty occured tipped the ball. I was in the endzone Auburn student section that day wearing LSU colors. One of the roughest away games I ever experienced. I was ready to chew nails after that bullshite.

I thought it was Lafell?

The ABSOLUTE WORST call was Hester catching the ball turning and taking steps only to have it poked away and go out of bounds. That would have been a first down and LSU would have been in FG range.

Number 2 and the honorable mention were the same game. At Auburn in 2006.

The RB was Hester. Later in the game there was an egregious PI where a flag was thrown and then picked up because the ball was tipped well after the PI started.

Bad calls, but LSU had no business only scoring 3 points in that game regardless. Top pick at QB, 2 first round WRs and talent all over the field. That team likely wins the NC if they win that game.

Or the David Irons PI no call going into halftime. frick that game.

Can’t forget their refs overturning the pass interference call in 2006 after the SEC Office made a quick call

What a sham

One of my favs……..In the 2005 LSU vs. Auburn game, Auburn kicker John Vaughn was known for his self-proclaimed "Money" nickname. However, during that particular game, Vaughn missed five field goal attempts, including one in overtime that would have tied the score, contributing to LSU's 20-17 overtime win.
